Expo Mom, The Mompreneur Market on May 7

Mark you calendar, May 7, 2011 this coming Saturday. at Rockwell Tent, Makati City.

I am a great fan of enterpreneurs and most of all those who encourage entrepreneurship. Janice Crisostomo- Villanueva, a mom enterpreneur herself is the organizer of Expo Mom and founder of Mommy Mundo, the Philippines go-to-portal of moms. Janice says “this is not your regular bazaar” and I believe so, having witnessed the past Mom Expos.

Expo mom showcases the latest in mom and baby products and services, from new brans that have just been launched or have just come in from abroad, to latest mompreneur inventions. This is a whole day event and moms can shop for their favorite brands and check out business ideas and perhaps even start a business.

I like that Janice envisioned this one-stop shop for busy moms so one can get all the information and services need to become the best moms they can be. Moms these days are so lucky to have all these information. I wished I had them back then. Even if my kids are all adults, I still want to keep in touch with the latest mommy stuff out there. Who knows I might need it when I become a “grandmother”(wishing wishing).

While moms are busy shopping, they can have their kids play and hang out in the inflatable slides provided by Fun Ranch, go to crafts and bead station or get some snacks at the healthy, snacks corner.

What is in store?

Expo Mom features interesting talks and workshops for young, urban moms and families. It’s guaranteed infotainment – both educational and fun at the same time. Activities such as the following have been planned out:
