Despite the travel advisories issued by the US, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Japan, and France against traveling to the Philippines, British-American owned World Cruise Ship SS Oriana docked in Manila on Monday morning to see what our city has to offer. The cruise ship carries 1,818 passengers, most of them British, American, and Australian nationals. And none of them were the least bit worried about terrorist attacks from crazy individuals – everyone was excited to see Manila.

The passengers spent the day touring points of interest in Manila, Tagaytay, and Corregidor, and visited various shopping malls before going back to the ship for their next port of call.
The USS Oriana was the biggest cruise group we have ever received, and many of the passengers intend to come back at a future date to experience more of the Philippines.
