Payless Shoe Source is Coming to the Philippines!

Whenever I go to the States, I like passing by a Payless Shoe Source to see if I can get trendy shoes at really low prices. For the United States, the prices are really quite cheap at around $10-15 a pair. Today I just learned that Payless is expanding worldwide, and that the Philippines will be the site of its first worldwide branches! Yup, that’s right – Payless is coming to the Philippines sometime mid-2010. I wonder how competitive they’ll actually be, considering that SM already offers cheap, fashionable shoes starting from P600 upwards. Not to mention that we already have a number of local brands that offer quality shoes at affordable prices. Maybe they’ll offer American brands that we don’t have, such as American Eagle Outfitters?
