And so, it's better than some un-named soap. There ARE lots of lousy cleansing products out there, but so are there lots of great ones. And a final though - Dove doesn't form soap scum for a reason - because it contains detergents and chemicals called chelating agents. Which you may wish to do without for a more skin-caring product. True soaps (non-detergent) without these chemical additives may leave soap scum behind, but many folks are sensitive to detergents and these additives... so for them Dove would NOT be a better soap.
