The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes office (PCSO) just announced a huge medical mission program called Kaibigan ng PCSO. Kaibigan ng PCSO aims to service the health care needs of 42,000 underprivileged barangays across the country. Hundreds of students, youth leaders, professionals, businessmen, and NGO leaders are making Kaibigan ng PCSO happen, and you can be one of them!

Individuals or groups can sign up as volunteers and donate their time and effort in the free medical and dental missions, as well as the other health services that will be offered in the mission. Private corporations may also donate in cash or kind to expand the mission’s reach. Besides the feeling that comes with having helped thousands of people, volunteers of Kaibigan ng PCSO have an additional incentive to join the mission. Active volunteers and donors of Kaibigan ng PCSO will be rewarded with the privilege of being on the priority list of those seeking financial assistance for hospitalization and medical support through the PCSO Health Card. If you have a PCSO Health card, your relatives will be given priority under PCSO’s Individual Medical Assistance Program. That means you don’t have to worry about the hospitalization expenses, surgical bills, and other medical needs if your loved ones get sick; PCSO will shoulder all hospital care for you.
